Weekend Update

We had a really good weekend.  Friday after supper I took the kids to the pool for a little bit.  I sat and read while the kids played.  It was nice!

Saturday we got up a little early.  Cragan came to spend the night with us while Sonya and Amos went to a wedding.  We gave her an early nap, then headed to Siemens for their fall festival.  Bri and Cragan played in the jump house and slid down the big slide while Alex went through the inflatable course.  Bri and Alex had snow cones while Cragan and I shared a funnel cake.  Brian was talking to some of his coworkers while we ate.  Cragan was eating "our" funnel cake and asked me what was on top.  I told her it was sugar.  She looked at me and said, "I like that sugar."  Needless to say the funnel cake turned out to be mostly Cragan's.  The kids were so tired, they took a bath and went to bed early.

Sunday morning I got up and made the kids pancakes.  I think Alex's allergies are bothering him.  He was super grumpy.  For him to be that grumpy means that he didn't sleep well the night before.  Then we were home watching 9/11 documentaries for Bri's Social Studies extra credit.  I made a big pot of chili for supper.
