Weekend Update

Friday we didn't do much of anything.  I checked Alex out of school early.  We went to Starbucks to spend some much needed time together.  We sat at the counter and he got to watch the baristas make peoples drinks.  Of course, he had a ton of questions and wanted to know what everything was.  After supper we all went for a walk around the neighborhood.  It was nice out, I really like walking much better when it's not so hot.  After that it was time for baths and Alex was worn out, so he got in the bed a little early.  I'm really missing Friday Night Lights on Fridays.

Saturday we got up early and headed to Shelby.  It was a little girls birthday party!  Can't believe she is 2! After Cragan's party we went to see Nana and to visit with Momma and Daddy for a bit.  We headed to Italian Garden for supper, but there was a mix up with a reservation and it was a hot mess in there.  So, we headed to Pizza Inn in Shelby instead.  I haven't eaten at a Pizza Inn in forever.

Sunday we were home working on Bri's homework and we had to run to Wal Mart to print off some pictures for Alex's project.  His teacher cut out some people shapes and they had to put pictures of things they like on it.  He put some pictures of himself playing, a picture of him and Maranda and a picture of Bri and Cragan.  We also printed out some other pictures and found some stickers of fire trucks and construction equipment.  I have to say, he did a really good job with it.  He helped me put the stickers on and told me where he wanted his pictures.
