Last night Bri, Brian and I were laying on the bed watching TV when her school called for the second time. I don't know why they can't condense all those messages into one. Anyway, the second call was about curfews that CMPD has set for kids and some changes they have made. Bri heard the word juvenile and when I hung up the phone she said that she wasn't a juvenile. I told her she was. That juvenile is the word for kids. She said she thought juvenile meant a bad kid. I guess so, because the only time she has heard the word juvenile is when we are talking about juvenile delinquents and juvenile detention.
This morning Bri came into my room before she got ready for school and asked if we could leave for school at 8:30. I asked why and she said that yesterday there were not any good seats left in homeroom. What constitutes a good seat? One with the girls. Apparently in 6th grade we don't sit with the boys unless we HAVE to. That makes this Momma VERY happy! I'm glad we don't want to have anything to do with boys right now. I'm not ready for boy drama and I'm sure this house is either!
