We had a really good weekend. Friday night Bri had a dance at the school that she had worked very hard to earn. While she was at school, Alex and I popped some pop corn and snuggled on the couch to watch a movie.
Saturday was super busy! We took Alex to see Santa at Siemens. Bri said she didn't want to talk to Santa. I guess that means she is growing up. She won't come out and say it, but I don't think she believes in Santa anymore. The motto in my family is, "If you don't believe, you don't receive." After our quick visit with Santa we headed to the South Park area to see The Muppets movie. Siemens had an event for their customers and opened up some tickets to their employees in the Charlotte plant. It was so fun and the movie was good too. When we left Alex was hopped up on sugar and could hardly sit still. When we left we went to South Park Mall to toddle around for a bit. When we were in Crate and Barrel, Bri found a pickle ornament. She was so excited and wanted it, but there was NO way I was paying $6 for a pickle! I told her we would keep looking. I also told her there is a tradition in Germany where the parents hide a pickle ornament on the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve and the first child to find it on Christmas morning gets an extra present.
Sunday four of our favorite people came to visit! The Davis girls came down! Before they got here, Bri and I ran to Target for some things. We found her a pickle ornament! She was so excited!

I just watched the movie The Heart of Christmas on GMC. If you get that channel, get your tissues and watch this movie!
