Gangsta

Not only does the boy kid want a Mohawk, he also announced this morning that he is a "gangsta."  I asked him where he heard this and he said one of the big kids from the bus said it.  This conversation took place in the car.  Bri was with us and said she likes the suits gangsters wear, the pin stripes with the hats.  Those two crack me up!

I've figured out how to embed recipes into the blog.  If I mention a recipe by name, you can click on it and it will take you to the website where I found the recipe.  When I look at the blog the names are in gray font.  Most of the places are blogs by foodies and other moms.

At Alex's school in music class they learn about a new composer every month.  He gets all excited to come home and tell me all about it and I love listening to him.  Normally these conversations take place on our way to Bri's school, whether it's in the car or walking.  Anyway today he came home telling me about a German composer who has a sculpture of his hands in Germany.  He wanted to know if I would take him to see it.  He was telling me about how the skin between his thumb and first finger allowed him to spread his fingers farther apart.  I was listening, but didn't pick up on the name.  He then proceeded to tell me this guy was a ladies man.  Well, Alex what does it mean to be a ladies man?  He told me it means that all the girls want to date him.  So, the gangsta went to school and learned about a ladies man today.
