Days Off

It's been nice having the kids off school the last few days.  Monday we didn't do much of anything.  I've always said when Alex gets quiet go check on him.  Apparently you should do the same with Bri.  She suctioned a bunch of cap erasers to her legs when she was bored.  Bri made cookies all by herself.  She made Peanut Butter Blossoms.  They were so, so good.  She made them and cleaned up her mess herself.  I was so proud of her.

Tuesday I told the kids we would go to Cracker Barrel for a late breakfast.  They were so excited.  I think Bri started some kind of hourly countdown.

I made these two new recipes Tuesday: Taco Pasta and Nutella Hot Chocolate.  Both were really good.  The only thing I changed in the pasta was using whole wheat pasta and ground turkey.  I also didn't use a packet of taco seasoning, but made my own.  The hot chocolate was delicious!  We love Nutella anyway!  I thought Bri was going to jump into the mug and swim around in it!
