Friday the kids and I got the best surprise! Ellie, Joey and Liz came by! They were close by so called to get directions to the house. I was so excited! After they left the kids and I went to Books A Million to see if we could find the next reading assignment for Bri's ELA class. Of course they didn't have it,s o we checked Target. No luck there either, but we did get a Starbucks fix. The kids have to find a new drink. They normally get a Strawberry Creme Frappe, but because of this article, they have decided not to drink them anymore. For supper I made Pepperoni Pizza Puffs. They were so good. I followed the recipe, but you could really add any toppings you like.
Saturday we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at Siemens. It was a lot different this year, I think they had prepared in advance for the rain. They had games, the kids got to decorate cupcakes, and do a craft. They had people walking around handing out plastic eggs. The kids had a great time.
Sunday I didn't feel well, so we stayed home. I did make these Kale Chips. I really liked them. The kids, however, were not impressed!
