"I Hate Commas."

Every quarter the kids at the middle school have to take quarterly formatives which are an "assessment" of what they have learned and what they know.  The final quarter is of course the EOG's.  Bri got her Language Arts scores for the first three quarters of the year and had some great growth.  Their LA teacher had them analyze what they need to work on.  Bri needs to work on grammar.  When her teacher read this at the bottom of the paper she was surprised because Bri likes to read a lot.  Bri is pretty comfortable with this particular teacher and looked at her and said, "It's commas Miss Radomski. I hate commas."
