Weekend Update

Let me start by apologizing for not blogging in a while.  I've often thought about stopping, but then I start to miss it.

It has been crazy busy around here trying to get ready for school to start back next Monday. Bri went to Camp MawMaw's this weekend.  I was at the middle school for a good chunk of the weekend.

Friday we set up for the weekend.  We let Alex choose what to have for supper and of course, he chose hot dogs and chips.  I did work in a fruit cup for some nutrition.

Saturday was Open House #1 and #2.  At the middle school they break things up by grade level.  Saturday session one and two is 6th grade, ESL, and EC.  It is also by last names.  There were a ton of parents and grandparents there!  One grandparent couple were cracking me up talking loudly to each other and trying to figure out what was going on.  After I got home the boys and I headed to Mooresville to Lancaster's BBQ.  We ate supper in the bus they have 4 tables in.  Alex thought it was wonderful!  They let him sit in the drivers seat, so he thought that was "awesome!"  I will post some pictures later.

Sunday afternoon Bri was delivered home. We went off for 7th and 8th grade Open Houses.  We had figured out Bri's schedule so she got to meet all of her teachers.  Well, we figured out all except her elective because she can't remember what she chose.

Today we are headed to serve at the Back to School Luncheon at the middle school and then we are off to get Bri some glasses.  She is not loving the fact that she has to get glasses.  I am loving the fact that she may be able to see the board at school more clearly.
