Two More Things

Two more things for today:

1) This is one of our favorite recipes. I got it from the Kraft Food and Family magazine, which is totally free.

Easy Shepherd's Pie

1 lb ground beef (I used ground turkey)
2 cups hot mashed potatoes (I used instant)
4 oz. cream cheese, softened and cubed
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1 cup beef gravy (I used a packet of brown gravy)

Preheat oven to 375. Brown meat in a large skillet, drain.
Mix potatoes, cream cheese, 1/2 cup of cheese, and the garlic until well blended.
Stir vegetables and gravy into meat.
Spoon into 9-inch baking dish.
Cover with potato mixture.
Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese. Bake for 20 minutes or until heated through.

2) Brianna brought home a poem she wrote about me at school. I am going to type it, just liek she wrote it. Here it is:

Mom

I really love mom. Because shes
like a really true friend. I really
love her. She helps me when I get hurt
and she plays with me. She reads
Harry Poter with me. And helps
with my homework. I help her
clean the house she makes it
fun. My favorite thing to do
in cleaning is dust it's fun.
