Weekend Update

I'm getting lazy on you guys and not posting the weekend update late Sunday like I normally do. Brianna actually said today that she is ready to go back to school tomorrow.

Friday morning we went to Concord Mills. The kids had a case of cabin fever, so we decided to go see Tangled. It was a cute movie. Then we walked around the mall for a bit, then went across the street to buy groceries. When we got home we just stayed home and hung out. I had some laundry to finish up, and the kids played.

Saturday morning we went to get our "new" couch. Travis, our youth pastor at church, is moving to Maine this week and was selling his couch, oversized chair and ottoman. Maranda and Becca kept the kids at home so we would have room inside the truck for cushions. According to the pictures Becca posted on Face Book, they had a good time. When we got home, it was out with the old and in with the new! This is Travis sized furniture too! Robin sat on it Saturday afternoon and her feet were dangling off the front! Brian said it looked like she was sitting in a recliner. I have some pictures of the kids playing on the old couch that will be posted later. Saturday afternoon I had a Thirty One party at Brianna's teacher's house. It was a great time. Brian got a call from work as I was finishing up and he had to go in that night. Thankfully he wasn't there long.

Sunday, I woke up with a terrible headache. I haven't had one that bad in a long time. I was getting dizzy when I moved. So, needless to say, I spent the day on the couch. After some Mucinex and several Advil I got it to ease off about supper time.
