Weekend Update

This is the first time I've had a moment to sit and actually write about our weekend. We've been going nonstop since Friday. Friday night I had to get Brianna to the church where she meets for Girl Scouts. Her troop was having a camp out Friday night. Then, Alex and I stopped by Bojangles for supper.

Saturday after we picked her up, we went to look for bedroom furniture for Brian and me. We started looking at a couple of places, then went to lunch. We stopped by Furniture Row Outlet, a new place over with Ikea. The search for bedroom furniture is OVER! We picked up the bed at their warehouse. Then, we had to make a Target run to buy a gift. We left home at 11:30 Saturday morning and didn't get back home until 9 that night.

Sunday morning the kids and I headed to Momma's church for a wedding shower. Brian stayed home, put the bed together and did some homework.

Monday we had a ton of errands to run. I got Alex out of bed and going by bribing him with chicken minis from Chick Fil A. After errands I spent the rest of the day working on laundry. Brianna and I wrestled the new, very heavy mattress on the bed. It came by UPS and I thought the UPS man was going to die when he saw me coming out of the house to help him with the mattress. We got it in the house though. Then Bri and I got it on the bed. After this weekend, I'm so ready to climb in the bed and sleep for days!
