Weekend Update

All in all we had a pretty good weekend. Friday night was Rock Group. The guys grilled while us girls sat inside and talked. After supper some of us stood out by the charcoal grill talking and roasting marshmallows. I don't know what it is about roasting marshmallows that makes you just want to be around it and talk. Brian worked really late and didn't get home until around 1:30 in the morning.

Saturday after Brian rested a bit we made a Target run. Last week when I was there I found some capris and Brianna needed some for school. So, she got a couple pair. They are super cute on her! We went to the Afton Village NYPD Pizza. I got a veggie pizza and it was delicious!! When we got home the kids and I played a fierce game of tag. The didn't cut me any slack whatsoever! After our game I came in to rest for a bit and the top of my foot has hurt since. I can hardly walk!

Sunday was spent at home watching movies, playing outside, generally just enjoying our time before the week starts. Brian was called into work for a couple hours. The kids made tacos and refried beans for supper. All weekend the kids and I watched the Harry Potter marathon on ABC Family. So, while the kids and I cleaned up the kitchen before bed Alex put a spell on me. He pointed his ruler at me and yelled "Asparagus." I don't know what kind of spell it was, but he was very serious. Also, while we were cleaning, Bri let Alex in on a little secret. Bri has a habit of leaving cups full of whatever she's had to drink on the table. So, I've started charging her a dollar. I've only caught her a couple times. Anyway, Alex left something to drink on the table and I asked him if I need to start charging him like I do Bri. Bri looked at him and said, "She ain't cheap." They are so funny!
