I have a lot of mixed emotions today. Woke up to the news that Osama Bin Laden was dead and buried in the sea. At first I didn't believe it. It just seems like the US military has been hunting this man down forEVER, although it's only been 10 years.
I'm scared/anxious. What retaliation is planned? You know Bin Laden had some sort of plan in place. Just because he is dead doesn't mean there is no more terror threats to the US.
I'm proud. I'm proud of the military and all their efforts. It was on the news that the Navy Seals were the ones who actually killed Bin Laden, but every branch of the military has sacrificed and fought in this war.
I have a ton of other emotions swirling around, but I can't put words to them now.
