Spring Break Update

Since last week most of what was posted were scheduled posts, I thought I would give you a week long update.

Monday we were home and Sherry told me to bring the kids over to play with her puppies. Bri really didn't want anything to do with them, but Alex had a blast.

Tuesday was errand day. Bri finally got her Chinese fix. I thought she was going to eat a plate of just crab rangoons.

Wednesday and Thursday were home days. I think we all needed days to do nothing. We did clean house, but that's about all we accomplished.

Friday night we had Rock Group. There was a bigger crowd than I thought there would be.

Saturday we headed to Forest City for a wedding. Alex stayed with Aunt Darlene. They had a great time! He talked about it half the way home. Bri went to the wedding with Brian and me. I think she enjoyed her time away from Alex. There was a photo booth at the reception and Bri had her picture made with just MawMaw, then her and Brian had their picture made and the three of us had ours made together. 2 sets of pictures printed out and one copy was supposed to be put in a scrapbook for the newlyweds.

Sunday we didn't get moving until around lunch time. We were all so tired from our late night. After lunch Brian needed to go to Target, and I'm always up for a Target trip!

While we were laying around the house Bri and Alex were in her room playing. Apparently they were playing in her computer chair. I heard a crash and some crying, but didn't go in there. I know if he needs me, he will come find me. Bri came through first and said he was standing in the computer chair while it was spinning. I got him calmed down and realized there was something just not adding up with her story. She told Brian she had nothing to do with this, but it didn't make sense to me how he could be standing up and spinning the chair. So, I asked her about it, and she was spinning the chair he was standing in. He fell backwards and hit his back on her desk.

If Alex is good in Target, he gets to go to PetSmart. He likes to check out the cats that are up for adoption and the dogs being groomed. When we got back to the grooming area we saw this HUGE white dog! The lady inside told us what breed it was, but we couldn't remember, but she said it weighs 180 pounds!! It sat on the grooming station still, they didn't even have it leashed.

Alex got tired of his pants falling down when he was running, so he used a bungee cord as a belt! He's a true Clayton boy!

PawPaw got Alex a pretend taser and bullet proof vest. He slept with it on his lap last night, when he finally hushed and went to sleep.

Officer Alex chasing the bad girl Bri.

Bri had to try on the vest.
