Whew!

I am so glad yesterday is OVER! It was a rough afternoon/night. I had two hilarious conversations with Alex though. Isn't he always the one that just comes out of the blue with something that breaks the tension?

While in the car on the way home from school yesterday we were listening to the radio and the song playing on the radio mentioned the Milky Way. Alex asked what it was, I told him it was part of outer space. He asked if there was milk in the Milky Way. I told him no, it was a collection of stars and planets. He died laughing and said he pictured a milk river with a cookie boat. He said a cookie would work better for a boat because it doesn't have frosting or whipped cream like cake and fudge does.

When I get on the treadmill Alex lays on my bed and watches TV. He watches the Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and PBS. He came running into the living room and said, "Momma, did it hurt when you fell from Heaven?" I just looked at him, I was trying to figure out what he said. Then he told me, "You're the only 10 I see." So, my 5-year old is working on his pick up lines! They did earn him a lunch date!
