Weekend Update

Man, the weather was BEAUTIFUL this weekend!!  I love fall and everything it brings with it.  October and November may be my favorite months.

Friday night we stayed home and cleaned a little.  Sonya, Amos and Cragan were spending the night.  Amos and Cragan were in a wedding Saturday in Concord and the rehearsal was Friday night.  As soon as Sonya got here with Cragan, we put her to bed.  She was so tired she went to sleep in the car on the way here.

Saturday Amos, Brian and Bri went to yard sales.  Our neighborhood was having a community wide yard sale.  It seems like you get bigger crowds when the whole neighborhood participates. They found a jogging stroller for a great price.  Sonya and Amos have been looking for one for a while and just haven't been able to find one.
Mani/pedi time
After they got back it was time to get Cragan ready for the wedding she was the flower girl for.  Here she is getting a mani/pedi from Bri.  It was actually the way we kept her still while Sonya did her hair.  Cragan was excited to wear her princess dress, shoes and have princess hair.  I heard she was excellent at the wedding and on her VERY best behavior!  We were home laying around and relaxing.  Bri and I made some apple cider and watched a movie.  She and I love the Caramel Apple Spice from Starbucks, but it's $3.00 for a large!  Anyway, we warmed some apple juice and added sugar-free caramel syrup, cinnamon extract, and butter extract.  We topped it with fat free Cool Whip and sugar free caramel ice cream syrup.  YUM!  YUM!  YUM!

Cragan's personal salon!

Sunday we actually went to church.  It's scary to walk into a church where you know no one.  It was okay.  Alex wasn't wild about staying in the kids area by himself, so Bri stayed with him.  She said she could tell he was extremely nervous.  After church we went to Jim and Nicks for lunch and then ran a couple of errands.  Then Bri came home and worked on some homework so she can get ready for her school week.
