The Foo Fighters!

Last night Robin and I met uptown to go see the Foo Fighters!  We were so EXCITED!  We've been planning on when we could go see them for several years.  At one time we were even looking to go to Tennessee, because Charlotte wasn't on the tour schedule.  If you don't know who the Foo Fighters are, it's a rock band, a loud rock band.  We had the best time!  I liked watching the crowds too.  There was a lady in a red shirt in one of the suites who jump danced the entire time.  I bet she burned 2000 calories!  The crowd was a mixed bag of people, people in suits, young, old, bikers, a good sampling of people.  Robin even had a drunk guy tell her she was cute, this was after she tried to figure out how to get on the stage.  He was creepy and we thought we were going to have to have security come ask him to leave.  When a band has been around for 16 years, they have a big catalog of songs.  Normally when you go to a concert you only hear stuff from their new album, but they sang old and new stuff.  This morning, I'm tired and my ears are still ringing, but I would do it all over again.  Maybe I would want to be over this sinus/ear crap first, but I would do it again.
