Weekend Update

We had a GREAT weekend.  The weather was nice, everyone was well.  Friday started EARLY.  The kids and I had to have Amos at the airport by 7:30.  The kids liked it because I bribed them out of the bed with the promise of breakfast at Chick Fil A.  They love some chicken minis.  That night we went to the middle school to hear Bri's friend sing the National Anthem with the Glee club. We thought it was a Glee concert, but it wasn't. So, we were out of there pretty quickly. Her friend wanted me to meet her mom so maybe she can come over here one day.   Then we were home, let the kids watch a little TV, and hung out in pajamas.

Saturday was Brian's birthday.  So, I put him to work on his honey do list!  We finally got blinds downstairs and on the kitchen door.  We went out to lunch to eat Chinese.  There is a place near the house that was pretty good.  The thing I hate about moving is learning your new area.  We don't know where to go eat. We rode around for an hour just exploring.  After we got the blinds up we headed back to Home Depot to pick up several things.  Then we went to Jim and Nicks for supper.  The place was packed!  There were people parking at the tire store next door.  Thankfully, they have a drive thru, so that's what we did.  We picked up supper from the drive thru and came home to eat.  FYI, you can get 12 cheese biscuits for less than $5!

Sunday was our anniversary.  We spent the day in pajamas doing nothing!  Bri had a Girl Scout ceremony to go to.  I thought I was going to have to go, but didn't!  Brian studied for a bit.  That's about it.  Oh, and, Tony Stewart won the race for our anniversary!
