My kids do something to make me laugh everyday.  They totally crack me up!

Episode #1

The rule in the house has always been "no shoes on the carpet."  That's right, white carpet and dirty shoes don't mix.  So, now that we are in the new house, the consequence for walking on carpet with shoes is that you have to vacuum.  Alex, of course, has had to do this more than once.  He is getting into the habit of eating a clementine on the way to school in the mornings.  (He thinks he is hot stuff eating in the car.)  This morning he forgot his clementine.  I was in the kitchen filling my water bottle and I turned to look and saw him crawling through the house.  I just died laughing and he grinned and said, "I'm not walking on the carpet with my shoes."

Episode #2

Bri is getting the cold that I had over the weekend.  She didn't feel good on the way to school Thursday and asked if I could get her a Gatorade before school.  We stopped by BiLo and the Easter candy was up front.  (Sidebar: Why is Jesus' birth celebrated with chocolate candy?)  With the candy they had some coloring books on a display.  Bri and I stopped to look at them.  I told her I should pick one up for the next time we have Cragan.  Bri asked if she could get one too, so I got one for her and Alex as well as Cragan.  She got all excited, put it in her book bag and said she was going to color in homeroom.  After school Bri needed a haircut, so we stopped by Great Clips. There was a new girl cutting Bri's hair and she was asking Bri a ton of questions.  When we were finished and walked out the door Bri was telling me how much the girl was talking to her.  She looked at me and said, "I just wanted her to get quiet and hurry up cutting my hair.  I'm ready to get home and color."
